FUN AND FREEDOM WITH YOUR FINANCES – Principle 1

Hello Ladies,

I’m Natasha Boyce, your Money Savvy Sista, helping you have more fun and freedom with your finances. And I want to introduce myself and my money philosophy. My money philosophy has 4 basic beliefs but the one I want to talk about today is my tagline, “More Fun and Freedom with your Finances.”

The words fun and money are rarely put together but I really value Fun. It’s hard to find the motivation to live your best life if you’re not having some fun with your coins on a small or lavish scale. The motivation to have more fun forces me to save, rearrange, invest or create more money. Money is just a tool to create the life you want. And I’ve changed jobs, moved to new cities and new countries, and done simple things like eat at a new restaurant with my money. This is after sitting down, reflecting, and deciding, “What do I want to do now?” “Who do I want to be now?”And I ask,”Will I have fun?” The feelings of lack and drudgery cannot be the basis of your money goals or the fuel you need to make changes.

I also value more freedom for myself and economic freedom for my community. And I’ve made improvements in this area by freeing up my time and asking for help. I’ve hired house cleaners, lawn care specialists, meal prep chefs, and have even cut off my hair to free up time.I hired more help because I need more time to work on money making ventures,to take classes, create more family time, or prioritize my workouts. Now, it’snow easy. If you grew up in a family like mine, you and your parents did everything yourselves. But it’s important to remember, you can make more money but we all havea finite amount of time to enjoy life. The mastery of money allows us more freedom of choice and more time to focus on our values.

And for those reasons and more, I truly believe money is a tool that you can use to create a wonderful and abundant life. And I’m Natasha Boyce, your Money Savvy Sista, helping you have more fun and freedom with your finances.

I agree with you. I’ve been so focused on making sure everyone else was covered, AND, I would be able to have enough to retire, that I forgot this is not a race. And I should be having fun. Well, it’s time!!!
